The American 1921 is an emblematic watch, both for its quirky design and its exceptional movement. Inspired by a 1920s model designed for the American market, it is distinguished by its tilted dial and its art deco aesthetics.
The heart of the Vacheron Constantin American 1921 is the caliber 4400 AS, a mechanical movement with manual reassembly developed and made internally by Vacheron Constantin. This movement testifies to the traditional know-how of the house, while being at the forefront of watchmaking innovation. The 4400 AS movement is distinguished by its simplicity of architecture, thus guaranteeing great durability, it is designed to minimize friction and maximize the longevity of the mechanism.
