Very rare and superb Patek Philippe bracelet watch for steel Howes on Galuchat bracelet with Ardillon loop. Bowl box, screwed background (engraved JMH). Blue dial with white gold -applied stick index. Stops stick. Extra flat mechanical movement caliber 23-300, Punch in Geneva. Dimensions: 33 x 36 mm. Sold with its extract from the archives confirming its date of manufacture in 1975 and its date of sale in 1978.

Patek Philippe launched the reference 3579 in 1969 and only produced it for five years. Made only of stainless steel, this reference had two dial variants, matt silver or blue.

Edward and Benjamin Howes opened a jewelry in Iowa in the early 1900s and became known as pearl retailers. The jewelry ended up closing and Benjamin moved to the west coast and opened its own jewelry store, B.D. Howes & Son Jeweler, in 1919, in Los Angeles. Benjamin managed to develop his activity on the West Coast and to open ten stores, and he became a patek Philippe watch retailer. He died on January 18, 1939.
