In 1848, then 23 years old, Louis Brandt opened an establishing counter in La Chaux-de-Fonds, in the canton of Neuchatel. His watches wear the Louis Brandt brand.
In 1879, the founder's two sons decided to embark on American manufacturing. Later they will settle in Bienne in the canton of Bern, better located on the logistics level. From January 1880, they launched their first caliber made by mechanical processes, reliable and cheap, the product was a spectacular success. In 1894, the company made the Omega 19 lines caliber which will give its name to the company. The name was deposited on March 10, 1894, this product was a success, both technical and commercial. The company occupies nearly 800 people and manufactures 100,000 watches per year, it is already considered to be the largest factory in Swiss watchmaking.
The proposed model is a rare and superb classic omega around 1940.
