Launched in 1992, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jubilee was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first Royal Oak Jumbo Reference 5402st launched in 1972.
In total, 1000 watches were marketed in steel (700 copies with dark blue or salmon dials), 280 in yellow gold and 20 in platinum.
During its launch, Royal Oak did not have the success it is experiencing today and many of these jubilees have remained among retailers for many years. The salmon dial is the most sought after version and this copy, complete with its accessories is ready to be added to the wrist of a collector.
