Superb and extremely rare chronograph in chromed metal bracelet. Round case, olive pushes. Black lacquered dial with 2 counters. Mechanical movement with column wheel.

In 1848 Louis Brandt created an establishing counter (subcontracting system of the factory of the elements of the final watch) to the backdrop or were made of precision pocket watches. Watches sell throughout Europe and particularly in England. He joined forces with his second son Louis Paul in July 1877 and founded the Louis Brandt and son company together, two years later Louis Brandt died on July 5, 1879.

Louis Paul and his brother Cesar then settled in Bienne in 1880 and founded their watchmaking manufacturer. Several brand emerges from assembly workshops; Jura, Patria, Celtic Gurzulen, Labrador and the one that interests us Helvetia.

Production reaches 100,000 watches per year. The largest in Swiss watchmaking. The model that interests us is a rare and magnificent Helvetia chronograph around 1930. It is a 35mm diameter chromed metal case with olive pushes. Beautiful black lacquered dial has painted Arabic figures painted. Chronograph has three counters with minutes totalizer at 3 a.m. and permanent breeze at 9 a.m. Mechanical movement with manual reassembly.

This beautiful copy with the stylized case comes from the know-how of the Omega house watch.
