In 1826 Julien Gallet founded the firm Julien Gallet with the funds.

The company's goal, to make pocket watches. One of these successors is his son Léon Gallet, who follows the traces of his father and renamed Léon Gallet in 1862. Léon Gallet opened a subsidiary to the United State.
