In 1737, Abraham Favre inaugurated a watchmaking workshop at the Locle. A few years later his son Henry-Auguste merged with A. Leuba. From the 1950s, the Manufacture produced beautiful watch prowess, it managed to create its own automatic movement as well as in 1963 the famous manual winding and mechanical altimeter shore, bivouac.
