Eberhard Chronograph

It was in 1887 that this watchmaking house was created by an excitement named Georges Emile Eberhard, born in 1865 in St Limier, he quickly decided to leave the workbench to others, to go and sell in person in neighboring countries these products, including gusset watches with chronograph.

In 1919 it was these sons Georges and Maurice who took up the company convinced that the future is at the Bracelet watch, they present their first chronograph for the wrist the same year, this push -button model quickly became, in the Roaring Twenties, the flagship model of the brand in full swing.

The 1930s saw Eberhard and Co named supplier of the Royal Military Navy of Italy.

The model presented, around 1950 has a 40 -minute steel box, its exceptional size for the time now gives it a privileged place with collectors.

Its magnificent black lacquered dial with two meters, with a snail telemetric scale, which makes it possible to appreciate the distance separating the observer from a phenomenon manifesting itself simultaneously in a visible and audible way (sound speed in the air 340 m second), beautiful dauphine needles, a mechanical movement with manual reassembly, it is offered with a crocodile bracelet with steel steel.
