Totalizer for minutes at 3 a.m., hours at 6 a.m. and small second hand at 9 a.m. Mechanical movement with column wheel caliber 178. Diameter: 40 mm.

Founded in 1884 by Léon Breitling, Breitling is a Swiss watchmaking house recognized worldwide for its high precision watches and its pioneer spirit. Originally specializing in chronographs, the company quickly established itself as a key player in the world of technical and functional watches, intended for both professionals and exceptional watch enthusiasts.
In 1915, she introduced the first independent bracelet chronograph with a distinct pusher, revolutionizing timing. This quest for excellence notably led the brand to design watches for civil and military aviation, thus becoming the official supplier of British aeronavale pilots in the 1930s.

As a chronograph, AVI is equipped with a specific mechanism to measure time with accuracy. The watch has several counters that facilitate timing.

The design of the AVI chronograph is inspired by the first on -board instruments of military planes in the 1930s and 1940s, with a daring and functional look. Each detail, from the contrasting dial to large crowns and pushes, is designed for easy handling, even with pilot gloves, strengthening the strong link between Breitling and the world of aviation.
