In 1884, Léon Breitling founded his workshop in the Jura.
He chooses to devote himself to an area as exclusive as they are demanding: that of chronographs and meters.
After his training, he made his first chronograph himself.
Thanks to its quality products and its constant quest for innovation, the brand accompanies the development of competition and automotive sports, but also the exploits of aviation pioneers.
In 1934 Breitling finished giving the chronograph his modern face by creating the second pusher for reset, quickly adopted by all the competition.
